Mangaluru: Orientation programme held at Expert PU College

Mangaluru, May 31: “Work more and talk less is a success mantra that is strictly followed by the genius minds and those are very successful in their lives. It's been evident that working more and talking less is definitely going to increase an individual's productivity in their respective fields thereby keeping them always ahead of others,” said Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions, presiding over the orientation programme held for the first PU hostel students and parents at Expert PU College, Kodialbail, on Wednesday, May 29. He emphasized on the importance of time management and urged the students to utilise it wisely. He assured the parents that their children would get the best of education and explained the rationale behind the academic rigour followed at Expert. He inducted the newly admitted students into the Expert family by administering an oath.

Ankush N Nayak, director of information technology, Expert Group of Institutions, briefed the students of various aspects of technology that have been incorporated in the institution to run the system smoothly. He felt that technology is a dual edged sword and students have to master the technology by grasping only the good aspects.

Prof Ramachandra Bhat, principal, Expert PU College, Kodialbail, provided the audience with thought-provoking introductory remarks, emphasizing the importance of holistic education and critical thinking.

B Vinay Kumar, member of the academic committee outlined the academic plan for the academic plan, highlighting the college's commitment to academic excellence and overall development. Shyam prasad S, coordinator of AICE briefed about the various competitive exams that students can attempt and the prestigious institutions that they can aim for, to fulfil their dreams.

Anusha K, lecturer in biology, accorded a cordial welcome to the gathering and hosted the programme. Students’ welfare officer for girls, Ashwini Pai proposed the vote of thanks. The programme co-ordinator, Radhika Bhat, lecturer in physics and other faculty members were present.
