Mumbai: Bharath Bank – Navin Kumar Gulibettu gets retired – Farewell

Mumbai, Jun 1: Naveen Kumar Gulibettu, manager of Udupi branch of Bharat cooperative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, retired from service. A farewell function was held in the Udupi branch of the bank here.

Muralidhar Kotian, chief manager of the bank, said, “Banking will be difficult in the coming days. Private banks are developing fast. Only when all staff of the bank work with honesty will it is possible for our bank to rise to the highest level. Staff should not work only with the aim of promotion or getting salary but for the development of the bank. I have respect for the working style of Naveen Gulibettu. He is a good bank entrepreneur. There is a lot to learn from him.”

Replying to the felicitation, Naveen said, “I thank the administrative board, directors, higher officials and staff for their cooperation during my 38 years of service in the banking sector. It was possible for me to successfully complete my responsibilities in banking. I am indebted to all of you who have given me farewell with regards and love.”

Avinash Anand Poojary and Udupi branch staff organized the farewell event. Chief manager of the bank Arun Kumar G Kotian, senior managers Udaya Salian, other branch chiefs Hemalatha Ashok Manampady, Shakuntala Neerendra, Prabhavati Karkala, Ajit Suvarna, Laxmeesh Mogreraya, Reshma Shetty, Shekhar U Poojary and other staff were present. They felicitated Naveen Kumar and wished him all the best in his future life.

Prafulla V Bangera welcomed and compered the event. Revathy Naveen Poojary rendered vote of thanks.

Naveen Kumar Gulibettu:

Son of Rukmini Soma Poojary couple, resident of Kemmannu village Gulibettu of Udupi taluk. He completed his education in commerce and went to Mumbai in July 1984. After working for a year in Canara Bank Officers Mumbai, he worked for three years in a private company. Later he joined Bharat Bank.

Naveen, who has extreme social concerns, involved himself in pro-social activities during his free time and is well known as Naveen Gulibettu in the Metro city. He is active in Karnataka Sangha Yuva section of Goregaon and Charkop Kannadigara Balaga Kandivili ®. He has also served as honorary chief secretary of Veera Kesari Kalavrinda Mumbai, secretary of Sri Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Dhoomavati Garodi Seva Trust Mumbai ®. He is a famous artiste and has worked in dramas directed by Rangavidwamsa Ramesh Shivapura and Chandrahasa Suvarna Shimantoor.

Naveen has offered his relentless service as joint secretary in the Borivili local office of Billava Association of Mumbai and Bharath Bank Employees’ association. Many organizations have recognized the service of Naveen and have felicitated him.
