Mangaluru, Jun 1: Biruver Kudla Friends Ballalbagh, under the leadership of Uday Poojary Ballalbagh, provided financial assistance for medical aid to members of five deserving families at an event held at the Kudroli Shree Gokarnath Temple premises.
Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader distributed cheques to the beneficiaries. He praised the organization for its decade-long service to the underprivileged, regardless of caste or religion, by providing financial aid and building homes for deserving families.
"For the past 10 years, this organization has been serving the poor, providing approximately Rs 10 crore for treatment, education, and various benefits to the disabled. This is no small achievement," Khader remarked.
Padmaraj R, treasurer of Kudroli Kshetra, also extended his best wishes to Biruver Kudla Friends.
Uday Poojary Ballalbagh highlighted that free ambulance service, COVID-19 assistance, and house construction for the poor are made possible with the support of members, donors, and well-wishers.
President of Kudroli Sri Gokarna Kshetra, Sairam, congratulated the organization. A total of Rs 1.50 lac was distributed for kidney failure and cancer medical aid.
