Bantwal, Jun 2: In a momentous event, Loretto English Medium High School proudly inaugurated its affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) alongside the commencement of the new academic year. The dual celebrations were marked by a grand ceremony attended by esteemed guests, faculty, parents, and students, symbolizing a significant step forward in the institution's journey of educational excellence.
The event began with opening butterfly structure depicting its life process. The chief guest, Fr Dr Praveen Leo Lasrado, the secretary, Catholic Board of Education (CBE) Diocese of Mangalore, delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the importance of quality education and the new opportunities that CBSE affiliation brings to the students and the community. He highlighted the need of the hour to bring changes and be updated giving the example of phone.
President of the function, Fr Francis Crasta, the correspondent of Loretto School, said, “This affiliation is not just a milestone for our school but a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. We are dedicated to empowering our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.” Further he added, “As we embark on this new academic year, we are excited to integrate CBSE’s rigorous academic framework with our innovative teaching methods to nurture well-rounded individuals.”
A special segment was dedicated to honouring the personnel whose hard work and dedication were instrumental in achieving the CBSE affiliation.
Parents and well-wishers were given a tour of the newly upgraded facilities, including state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and modern classrooms designed to enhance the learning experience. The new infrastructure is aimed at providing an environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and holistic development.
