Kasargod: Two dead after bike rams into telephone junction box

Kasargod, Jun 7: Two youths died when the bike they were riding hit a telephone junction box after the rider lost control over the vehicle, in the early hours of Friday June 7 at Trikkeripura.

The deceased have been identified as V P M Mohammed Suhail (27) from Mattammal and Payyanur, and K. Shahid (27), a resident of South Trikkeripura.

The two were traveling from Payyanur to Kasargod. As they approached Trikkeripura, the bike went out of control and crashed into the telephone junction box, killing both on the spot.

The mortal remains have been kept at the Periyaram Medical College mortuary for post-mortem examination.
