Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (YA)

Udupi, Jun 8: A resident of Brahmavar, Raghavendra, has lodged a complaint against his friend Santosh, alleging financial fraud. According to the complaint, Raghavendra befriended Santosh, a Mumbai-based individual, in early 2022. In January of the same year, Santosh visited Raghavendra's home and persuaded him to invest in his company, Reach Lifecare, with promises of doubling the invested amount.

Trusting his friend, Raghavendra deposited a total of Rs 7,00,000 into Santosh's account between May 28, 2022, and October 18, 2022. However, despite the passage of time, Raghavendra has not received any returns on his investment.

Feeling frustrated and betrayed, Raghavendra has filed a complaint at the Brahmavar police station, accusing Santosh of failing to honour his commitment and cheating him out of his money. The police are currently investigating the matter.
