Moodbidri, Jun 9: Carmel School Moodbidri embraced the spirit of World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and commitment on June 5. Under the theme "Preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known," the day served as a powerful reminder of our duty to safeguard our planet for future generations.

The event commenced with a solemn school assembly, where Sr Maria Gracilda AC, the principal, highlighted the significance of World Environment Day. In her address, she emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and the collective responsibility to maintain a sustainable and healthy environment.

A series of engaging activities were organized for students from grades I to V, designed to foster a deeper connection with nature and inspire creative expression. These activities included drawing, painting, leaf art, a nature walk, and sapling planting.

In addition, a drawing contest on the theme "Our Land - Our Future" was conducted by Vijay Karnataka for students from grade VI to X.

The celebration of World Environment Day at Carmel School Moodbidri was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and enthusiasm of the students. and staff.
