Kundapur, Oct 23: With the aid of some relevant clues the police squad under the leadership of circle inspector Madan Gavnkar are carrying out prompt investigations of the murder case of woman who was residing in a house near BTR Road, opposite Gandhi Maidan here.
She was found murdered at her residence on Friday October 21 at around 10 am. The police have also taken into custody a man who is a suspect in the murder and are querying him.
After conducting the post mortem the body of the woman was brought to Kundapur. The police suspect strongly that the murder has been committed by people who were familiar to the lady. No gold ornaments were stolen from the house, they informed. The investigations are on.
