Mangaluru, Jun 5: An exclusive nature quiz competition was held at Expert P U College, Valachil in connection with the World Environment Day celebration. The programme was organised by the eco club, ‘Green Ex’.
The students were asked to write answers to a questionnaire set on environmental issues within a stipulated time. As many as 1,187 students participated in this mega nature quiz with great enthusiasm. Neha Chennakeshava from C2 batch won the competition by scoring a perfect 20 score. 13 Students shared the second prize.
Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman & Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice – chairperson, Expert congratulated the winners and participants. He also lauded the staff for organising such a programme to create awareness towards nature and its protection on the occasion of the World Environment Day 2024.
