The bus driver should have maintaimed minimum distance. It's common is twin districta that private bus drivers don't maintain minimum distance and always overspeed on highways

Doesnt Matter how suddenly the Truck Driver applied brake. Its a mistake ofBus Driver. Its a responsibility of a driver to maintain a safe distance. but The buses in our area have the habit of following the vehicles bumper to bumper even at high speeds.

Fix responsibility on National Highway for not getting repairesd the potholes which is the cause for this accident. Speeding vehicles cant stop their vehicles all of a sudden. If stopped the result is accident and great casualties.

If the drivers are driving in the stipulated speed, they can avoid Pothole. Compititon is the main reason for overspeed.

why is Speed governors are not made mandatory for these buses? Time keepers only check the time of arrival and departure but none is there to that of DEVASTATING SPEED ! Concerned officials, please pay some attention to the safety of express bus passengers

You can imagine the speed at which the bus was cruising, and the skill of the bus driver; only happens in third world places! BTW; the medical costs of the gullible bus passengers should be made payable by the bus owners!!

Cancel the Permit of the Bus Owner and the Licence of the Driver. Bus drivers in Mangalore Udupi only know to Honk and Overtake. Being drivers of Public transport, they should be aware of maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. This is fully Bus drivers fault.

True; but DK private bus drivers are very notorious for very rash driving, and fatal accidents are almost an everyday affair; unless they are tamed one cannot expect much on the increasing number of RTAs

Can they maintain safe braking distance. Buses here use brakes only to stop for passengers. Otherwise they think they own the road.

Just one solution. To limit bus speed to 75km/hr. But our RTO is toothless. Local MLA's also useless
