Mangaluru, Jun 13: In a heartfelt ceremony brimming with tradition and promise, the Indiana College of Nursing in Mangaluru held its inaugural lamp lighting ceremony at Indiana Hospital. The event welcomed first-year nursing students into the fold of healthcare with esteemed guests and lively performances.
Dr Veena Greta Tauro, principal of Masood College of Nursing, graced the occasion as chief guest, sharing words of encouragement and wisdom with the budding nurses. Joining her were Dr Ali Kumble, chairman of Indiana Hospital, and Dr Yusuf Kumble, the hospital's managing director, along with Prof Manu K Joseph, principal of Indiana College of Nursing.
The ceremony, marked by the lighting of lamps symbolizing the students' commitment to the nursing profession, transitioned into a celebration with cultural performances showcasing the diverse talents of the student body.
