Puttur: St Philomena College students shine at state level athletic championship

Puttur, Jun 13: Yashwin, a student of St Philomena College, secured a silver medal in the high jump competition at the state-level athletic championship held in Udupi Ajjarakadu. His outstanding performance has earned him a place in the national-level competition.

The national-level event will be held in Panchkula, Chhattisgarh, where Yashwin (BCom) will represent the college and State. Yashwin had previously been selected for the national-level competition during his time in Pre-University College, showcasing his consistent excellence in athletics.

In addition to Yashwin’s achievement, Varsha (BCA), another student from St Philomena College, won a bronze medal in the hammer throw competition at the same tournament.
