Dubai: Mogaveer Cup-2011 Tourney Concludes on a High Note

Dubai, Oct 25: The Mogaveers UAE concluded the Mogaveer Cup-2011 Tournament, a Mogaveera's Premier League-III version match at Zabeel Park, here recently. A large crowd of 300-plus gathered to enjoy the event. The afternoon session was a fun-filled family get-together, with group skits, games for children and adults.

The winners of the tournament are Mogaveers Malpe with United Mogaveers and Mogaveers Hejmady being the first and second runners-up.

Other teams that participated in the tournament are Royal Tigers UAE, Vande Matharam, Mogaveera Uppala, Star Cricketers, Mogaveers Malpe, Yuvaka Mandal Yermal, Mogaveers Hejmady, Abudhabi Mogaveers 14, United Mogaveers and Bengre Vidyarthi Sangha.

Final Score:

Mogaveers Malpe 77 runs in 3.5 Overs won by 10 wickets.
United Mogaveers 76 /5 in 8 Overs

Cricket match was very well timely handled by Satish Karkera and team.

Special attraction of the group game was Anganawadi School on top of the cross gender fashion show.

Anganawadi school team – ‘Rampani’ led by Vasanth Hejmady who enacted as a teacher along with his funny character students humoured the audience with effective dialogues.
 
Ladies wing had taken charge of other games for the audience like housie housie and group skit. Prize distribution was arranged by Laxmi B.Salian and Shailaja Y Kotian.

During the programe Balakrishna Salian, vice president of Mogaveers UAE distributed the leaflets of benefits of blood donation to all. He is in a lead role to gather all community organization within UAE conduct blood donation camp and save life. Mogaveers UAE has been conducting blood donation camp every year of UAE’s National Day on December 2 at Al Wasl Hospital, here.
 
All players as well as spectators were served with Dibba water, tea, biscuits, snacks, Maaza Juice and delicious Mangalorean lunch from Das Prakash Restaurant.

Mogaveers UAE has also declared their fourth anniversary along with sports meet on December 23, 2011 at Wanderers Club, Sharjah. They have requested all their community members to inform their relatives and friends to attend the event.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MANAGING COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOR THE JOB WELL DONE WITH THE ENTHUSIASM AND SPIRIT THEY HAVE DISPLAYED.

    Cricket tournament was well planned and very professionally conducted.

    Post match family gathering was also excellent. The events for the occasion were well planned and uted perfectly which were really commendable. All participants enjoyed their events very much and so also the spectators were very cheerful.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO ONE AND ALL WHO CAME IN GOOD NUMBERS AND MADE THE TOURANMENT AND FUNCTION VERY SUUCESFULL.
