Moodbidri, Jun 17: On the occasion of Environmental Day, the students of KG and playschool at Carmel School, Moodbidri, participated in a variety of engaging and educational activities aimed at fostering a love for nature and the environment.

The event featured a live demonstration of the plant life cycle, conducted by Sr Rosy, the coordinator. Students brought saplings from home, which they enthusiastically planted in the school premises.

A nature walk was organized, allowing the children to explore the natural surroundings of the school. This walk helped them appreciate the beauty of nature and understand the significance of preserving it.

To further enhance their creative skills, students participated in a colouring activity where they coloured outlines of trees.

These activities left a lasting impression on the young minds about the importance of environmental conservation.
