Sullia: Advani Yatra Aims at Cleansing Political System - DVS

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia

Sullia, Oct 25: Chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda, who was on a visit here to participate in a BJP workers' meet organised by BJP Sullia Mandala unit on Monday October 24, said that senior BJP leader L K Advani's Jan Chetna Yatra aimed at cleansing the system.

He further said that corruption has penetrated the political system and needs to be purified. He added that the politicians should not take advantage of their position and loot the treasury of the state or nation.

Advani's Yatra is not confined to BJP alone but is about the entire political system, he said.

The state government will let the law take its course and will not interfere in the probe against some of the ministers, he said. However, he also added that most of the complaints against BJP ministers were 'politically motivated'.

He also took potshots at the UPA government and said that it was misusing the CBI.

Among those present were district BJP president Padmanabha Kottari, BJP Mandala committee president Venkat Dambekodi, Nagaraj Shetty and others.

He was in town to also attend the wedding of his niece Dr Sushma.

If Advaniji's intention is to cleanse the political system then all the K'taka BJP ministers/ex-ministers must be sent to andaman/ nicobar for kaalapani first then he can think of cleansing sytem in K'taka

Advaniji If you want to clean the system u should start from your party and do not point at other partys. Once u head start then all will follow because u are a senior most.
But at the same time u should not point your fingers at UPA and CBI and say that it is politically motivated. CBI is our premier organization please do not complain against it and start cleansing your party first.
