Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 18: Blue, symbolising calmness and reliability, is often associated with serenity and tranquillity. Reminiscent of the vast sky and deep sea, this colour evokes feelings of peace and endless possibilities.

St Agnes School CBSE observed Blue Colour Day on June 14, 2024, with LKG and UKG students, marked by enthusiasm and joy. The event was crafted to acquaint children with the colour blue and engage them in a spectrum of entertaining and educational endeavours.

Students and teachers alike were encouraged to dress in blue attire, while children brought blue-hued items from home to further immerse themselves in the theme. The school premise was adorned with blue balloons and streamers, creating a visually appealing and unified ambiance.

A crafting session emerged as the highlight of the day, during which children fashioned various crafts themed around the colour blue. Furthermore, a sing-along session was orchestrated, enabling children to enhance their vocal abilities and learn new songs in an enjoyable manner.

An array of blue-themed games and activities were arranged to ensure the children remained active and engaged throughout the day. The Blue Colour Day celebration proved to be a triumphant occasion, delivering an energetic and enriching educational encounter that deepened the children's comprehension and admiration for the colour blue. These activities not only reinforced their grasp of colours but also fostered creativity, teamwork, and physical activity.
