Dubai, Oct 26: ‘Udenthichim Nekethram’, Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association (MVCA), gathered together 13 parish’s varado members and non-varado members by conducting fifth year of ‘Jossy Memorial Cricket Tournament’, which was held recently opposite Safa Park open ground, here.
The tournament was held exclusively for the MVCA members. There were seven teams representing the parishes as follows, 2 teams from Taccode Parish, (Taccode Friends, Taccode Stars), Hospet cum Gantalkatte parish, Paladka parish, Siddakatte cum Vamadapadav parish, Sampige,Alangar cum Belvai parish, (SAB), Moodbidri parish. The winners of the tournament were Taccode Friends.
 respectively to reach the finals. </P>
<P>Tournament was formally inaugurated by the association president Ullas Fernandes Siddakatte, and secretary Cyprian Fernendes, Vamadapadav along with the committee members.</P>
<P>Prizes were distributed by Prakash Cardoza and Cyril Baptist( family members of Late Jossy) along with Ullas Fernandes and committee members. Final presentation ceremony was done by Joshve, Alangar. Rolling trophies were given out to the winners and runners of the tournament. </P>
