Karkala, Jun 23: A case has been filed at the city police station against Krishna of Krish Art World, accusing him of receiving money to install a bronze statue of Lord Parashurama and instead installing a fake statue.
The complainant, Krishna, a resident of Nallur, stated in his complaint that Krishna of Krish Art World took Rs 1,25,50,000 from Udupi Nirmiti Kendra for constructing a bronze statue of Lord Parashurama.
However, he constructed a fake statue and deceived the government, states the complaint.
