Udupi: Annual investiture ceremony held at St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School

Udupi, Jun 24: The Annual investiture ceremony was held at St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School on June 22.

Sr Preethi Crasta A C, joint secretary of the school, the chief guest, addressed the newly elected council members and the gathering. She encouraged the new council to work together harmoniously for the betterment of the school. 

Bradley Denver Vaz, the former head boy, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and support received during his tenure.

Sr Preethi Crasta A C, along with the principal, Sr Lathika A C presented the portfolio badges and sashes to the council members and officially launched the club activities.

As the council members took their solemn oath to serve the school with dedication and commitment, an aura of pride and responsibility filled the auditorium, setting the tone for a year of exemplary service and excellence.

The investiture ceremony was held to formally invest the new student council members for the academic year 2024-2025. The investiture ceremony shone the spotlight on the leadership potentials of the students, encouraging them to embrace their new roles with enthusiasm and commitment.

The ceremony commenced with the prayer service. As a symbolic gesture of unity and illumination, Sr Preethi Crasta A C, along with school leaders lit the ceremonial lamp, marking the beginning of a promising academic year.

Students with impeccable attendance during the last academic year were awarded on the day.

Leesha S Bangera welcomed the gathering. The programme was compered by Unnathi and Sanvi Shenoy of Grade 7A.

The event culminated with the National Anthem.
