Ankara, Oct 28 (IANS): A teenager was rescued from the rubble after over 100 hours following an earthquake that flattened his home in a Turkish town.
Ferhat Tokay, 13, was found alive in Ercis in southeastern Turkey, BBC reported.
More than 500 people were killed and over 1,600 people were injured in the 7.2 magnitude quake in Van province Oct 23.
More than 18,000 tents, 95 mobile toilets, 60 prefabricated huts, over 84,000 blankets, 1,130 quilts and 36 mobile kitchens have been dispatched to the quake zone.
A 25-year-old school teacher was Wednesday pulled out from the debris of a building, Xinhua reported.
About 80 multi-story buildings collapsed in Ercis town, which is close to the Iranian border.
