Mangaluru, Jul 3: The Hayatul Islam Badriya Juma Masjid and madrasa, located in Edurpadu Moodushedde, recently hosted its annual general meeting (AGM) in its community hall. The meeting commenced with a prayer led by Safwan Irfani Mundle, the Khatib of the Masjid and madrasa.
At the meeting, the annual report and financial accounts for the fiscal year 2023-24 were presented. Following this, elections were held for the office bearers for the year 2024-25. Maiyaddi was re-elected as the president for the third term, a testament to his leadership and dedication. Jamaluddin was appointed as the general secretary, Mohammad Afrid as the joint secretary, Mansoor as the vice president, and Mustafa AKM as the treasurer.
The newly elected members of the executive committee include A P Iqbal, Nawaz, Abdul Khader, Arif, Ashraf Kettikal, Kalandar, Ahmad Bava, and Athavulla.
