Mangaluru: Residents of Adhyapady suspect leopard attack

Mangaluru, Jul 5: On the night of July 3, residents of Adhyapady have suspected a leopard attack after discovering a dead dog with injuries consistent with a large predator.

The dog, belonging to Angeline Pereira, was found with its leg mutilated, leading locals to believe it was attacked by a leopard.

The incident was reported to the forest department, which promptly visited the scene for inspection.

As a precautionary measure, the authorities have set up a cage to trap the suspected leopard and prevent any further incidents.
