Mangaluru, Jul 7: The PTA annual general body meeting of St Ann's High School, Bolar was held on July 6 in the school hall.

The meeting commenced by invoking God's blessings through a prayer song followed by a welcome dance. Dr Preethi Keerthi D’Souza, associate professor, department of commerce, Mangalore university was the resource person of the day. She was accompanied by Sr Smitha AC, the joint secretary and Sr Ruby D’Souza AC, the headmistress of St Ann's High School.

Teacher Sarah, warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest to the audience. Teacher Veena, secretary of PTA read out the report for the academic year and Sir Balthazar placed the audited financial report before the parents.

Headmistress Sr Ruby D’Souza AC addressed the parents and gave a few insights along with the rules and regulations to be followed by students in school. Teacher Pearl introduced the top scorers of standard 10 of the year 2023- 24 who were then felicitated. The resource person Dr Preethi Keerthi D’Souza then addressed the audience on the impact of technology on the lives of students and what should be the role of parents to build a healthy parent-child relationship in this world of technology.

The election of the parent teachers executive committee was conducted by teacher Veena. Teacher Ancita proposed the vote of thanks and teacher Lavina Lobo compered the programme.
