Sea erosion intensified at Maravanthe, with rocks from the retainer wall near Bobbarya Daiva Stana on the road to Maravanthe outer port being washed away by high-velocity waves. The retainer wall is at risk of collapsing, threatening the road itself. Similar concerns arose three years ago during Cyclone Taukte.
