Waterlogging and flood-like conditions persist in many parts of the district. Many low-lying areas of Udupi city are also flooded. Rainwater entered households in the Karamballi Venkatarama layout, affecting nine houses. Many city roads have been flooded since the morning due to major blockages in drainage.

The district is currently experiencing heavy rainfall, leading to significant disruptions across various areas. Gundibail has been particularly affected, with roads being blocked due to the downpour. Rainwater is overflowing onto the streets, posing severe challenges to vehicular movement.

Areas such as Doddanagudde, Kalsanka, Gundibail, and Bailakere are facing inundation from floodwaters. The Udupi city municipal commissioner visited the Gundibailu area to assess the situation and ensure that necessary measures are taken.

Flooded roads have created hazardous conditions for motorists.
