Mangaluru, Jul 8: The third branch of ‘Brownie Point’, owned by Nityananda Shetty and Vijit Rai, was inaugurated at Sultan Complex, B C Road, Kaikamba, on Sunday, July 7.

The branch was inaugurated by Walter Nandalike, managing director of Daijiworld Media, Tulu cine actor Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, and Ummer Faruk Faizi Mudarris of MJM Mittabail.

Brownie Point, a renowned cake company originally from Mumbai, began its operations in 1997. It later expanded, opening branches in Dubai, Nasik, Delhi, Surat, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.





















Nityananda Shetty, who gained five years of work experience with Brownie Point, opened the first outlet with his brother-in-law, Akash Shetty, on the ground floor of Ibrose Complex in Mangaluru in 2022.

Responding to customer demand, the second branch of Brownie Point was opened in Kavoor. The bakery offers a variety of cakes, including Fruitcake, Vanilla, Mixed Fruit Almond, Belgian Mousse, Death by Chocolate, Swiss Truffle, Chocolate Fantasy, Mango Almond, Fresh Mango, Mango Maharaja, Choco Vanilla Trio, Rasmalai, and Gulab Jamoon cakes, all customizable to the customer's requirements.

Plans are underway to open new outlets in Pandeshwar and Valencia, as announced by Brownie Point's chief, Nityananda Shetty.
