Mangaluru: Youth electrocuted while fixing cement sheet

Mangaluru, Jul 11: A youth got electrocuted while fixing sheets to a house at Ullanje near Kinnigoli on Wednesday.

The deceased is identified as Avinash, a resident of Light House near Haleyangadi.

Avinash lifted the iron rods of the sheets to fix it to the roof of the house, while the rod touched the electricity wire and he collapsed on the spot.

Though he was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
