Mangaluru: St Theresa's ICSE School, Bendur celebrates Bethany Foundation Day

Mangaluru, Jul 11: The KG and the lower primary students of St Theresa's School, Bendur honored Fr RFC Mascarenhas' legacy by celebrating Foundation Day on July 11 with great reverence and joy. The ceremony started with the prayer led by kindergarten and grade 1 students.

The chief guest Sr Saritha Lobo, principal Sr Lourdes, vice principal Sr Reena D’Souza and all the sisters in the school were welcomed and greeted with the flowers. The kindergarten children performed a play based on the life of Father Founder, and the grade 1 students spoke on the significance of Foundation Day and Fr RFC Mascarenhas's contributions to social service and education.

The Bethany anthem was sung by the grade 2 students. Their animated performance, which demonstrated their passion and admiration for the Founder was the event's high point.

Chief guest Sr Saritha Lobo and also principal, Sr Lourdes, gave an inspiring speech about Fr Mascarenhas’s life and his dedication to helping others through education. They encouraged the students to follow his example in their daily lives.
