Puttur: Railway staff rescue hostel boys on the run

Puttur, Jul 14: Alert railway station personnel in Puttur rescued four boys who had escaped from their hostel and were attempting to travel to Bengaluru on July 13.

The boys, who arrived at the ticket counter, asked for tickets to Bengaluru. Their unusual behavior raised suspicion, prompting the ticket counter personnel to notify the RPF. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the boys had run away from their hostel.

Puttur police arrived on the scene, persuaded the boys, and called their parents, who came to the railway station and took them home.

Senior tech personnel Kumar, Wasim Syed, Vasant, and Malashree of Puttur railway station assisted in rescuing the boys.

    Why the boys wanted to escape from hostel?Any problems or remembered home atmosphere?Sometimes children think more of homes or hostel life in early age not tolerable .Good someone had the right thought to inform officials.
