Udupi: Stranger barges into two houses at night, creates ruckus, arrested

Udupi, Jul 15: A stranger entered two houses at night in Kappettu, Kidiyoor village, causing a disturbance. The frightened house occupants informed the police, who quickly arrived at the scene and took the man into custody.

It has been revealed that the man is mentally ill. He was admitted to Doddanagudde Dr A V Baliga Hospital by investigating assistant Riyaz from the city police station, with the help of social worker Nityananda Olakadu.

The person has been identified as Sunil Verma from Rajgadh. 

His relatives are requested to approach the city police station for more details.
