For Aditya Seal, Akshay Kumar stands out for his 'unparalleled filmography'


Mumbai, Jul 17 (IANS): Aditya Seal is set to share the screen with Akshay Kumar in the upcoming comedy-drama 'Khel Khel Mein'. Heaping praise on the star, the actor said that his unparalleled filmography makes the 'Khiladi' of Bollywood stand out.

"Working with Akshay Kumar has been an incredible experience," said Aditya Seal.

"He is not just a superstar but an industry stalwart whose work I have admired for years. What truly stands out about Akshay sir is his unparalleled filmography,” he added.

Aditya said that from romance and biopics to drama, sports, and action, Akshay has dabbled in almost every genre with remarkable ease and success.

He even has a personal connection with Akshay.

Aditya revealed: “I have this strange but great personal connection to him. My father has always been a huge Akshay Kumar fan, especially his action.”

“So for me to follow in his footsteps my father took me to Bangkok when I was young, I stayed there, learnt martial arts the way he did. So now working with him on this movies and sharing screen space with him is truly a full-circle moment,” said the actor, who has a black belt in Taekwondo.

Talking about 'Khel Khel Mein', the film is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is tagged to be about a situational comedy involving three couples. Aziz has previously worked on movies such as 'Happy Bhag Jayegi', 'Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi', and 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'.

Aditya made his debut in 2002 with 'Ek Chhotisi Love Story' starring Manisha Koirala. He was then seen in 'Purani Jeans', 'Tum Bin II', 'Namaste England', '99 Songs', and 'Rocket Gang'. The actor also has “Maharagni - Queen of Queens” in his kitty.

An action thriller, 'Maharagni - Queen of Queens' also stars Kajol, Prabhu Deva, Samyuktha, Naseeruddin Shah, Jisshu Sengupta, Chhaya Kadam, and Pramod Pathak.
