Railways announces special MEMU train services between Mangaluru-Madgaon to ease passenger rush

Udupi, Jul 20: The Railways has announced the operation of a special MEMU service to manage the increased passenger traffic between Madgaon Junction and Mangaluru Junction. The special service, running under Train Nos 07107/07108, will be operational on July 20, 21, and 22. This initiative aims to provide unreserved seating to accommodate the extra rush of passengers over the weekend.

Train No 07107 Madgaon Jn - Mangaluru Jn MEMU (Unreserved) Special will depart from Madgaon Junction at 6:00 hrs and arrive at Mangaluru Junction at 12:15 hrs. Service will be available on July 20, 21, and 22

Train No 07108 Mangaluru Jn - Madgaon Jn MEMU (Unreserved) Special will depart from Mangaluru Junction at 12:40 hrs and arrive at Madgaon Junction at 19:00 hrs. Service available on July 20, 21, and 22.

The special trains will make stops at Canacona, Karwar, Harwada, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Mirjan, Kumta, Honnavar, Manki, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Shiroor, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bijoor Senapura, Kundapura, Barkur, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, and Thokur.

The trains will comprise eight-car MEMU rakes.
