Kundapur: Truck falls into roadside drain, no casualties reported

Kundapur, Jul 21: A 16-wheeler truck slipped into a stormwater drain by the side of the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle near the bend of Mavinakatte Sri Jattigeshwara temple at Bidkalkatte on the state highway on Saturday evening.

The truck was carrying cement from Ballari to Brahmavar.

It is said that the driver turned the vehicle to the left to give way to an oncoming vehicle. The truck sustained minor damages, while the driver fortunately escaped without injury.
