Mangaluru, Jul 21: Indian Grand Mufti Sultanal's Ulama Kanthapuram A P Aboobacker Musliyar has been elected as the Khazi of Ullal.

In a general assembly held on Sunday, July 21 afternoon at the Madani Hall of the Ullal Dargah premises, it was unanimously decided to appoint AP Ustad as the Khazi.

The oath taking ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 5, as announced by Dargah president B G Haneef Haji and general secretary Muhammad Shihabuddin Saqafi in a press release.
