Bantwal, Jul 22: Former minister B Ramanath Rai asserted that God would respond appropriately to those who misinterpret Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's statements and spread falsehoods about him. He offered a special prayer for this purpose at the Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple on Monday morning and later addressed the media.
Referring to recent remarks made by leaders of a Hindu organisation against Rahul Gandhi, Rai emphasised that God would provide a fitting reply to lies and defamation, affirming that truth will ultimately prevail.
He clarified that Rahul Gandhi's speech in the Lok Sabha has been officially recorded and contains no derogatory remarks about Hinduism or anti-Hindu statements. Rai pointed out misunderstandings and noted that false allegations are being spread against leaders.
