Udupi, Jul 24: “The budget has been framed for the benefit of the common people, without focusing on the elections in any state, including Maharashtra,” said Kishore Kumar Kundapura, president of the Udupi district BJP.

Addressing a press meeting at the BJP district office in Udupi on July 24, Kishore Kumar Kundapura stated, “Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented an exemplary budget based on promises made to the people and election results. This budget focuses on the development of the poor, women, and farmers. Congress leaders claim that no funds have been allocated for Karnataka. However, there are no political motives behind this budget. Grants have been provided for basic facilities in Andhra and Bihar.”

P Divakar Shetty, BJP district economic committee coordinator, provided detailed insights into the Union Budget 2024-25. He noted, “In a federal system like India’s, such a budget can only be presented by a strong and experienced government with vision. This budget has been prepared with nine main points and a roadmap for India to become the world’s first developed country by 2047.”

Divakar elaborated on the budget, saying, “This budget outlines the roadmap for the country by allocating necessary funds, creating jobs, providing technology training, offering incentives, and strengthening the four main sectors crucial for skill development. The budget addresses key needs in Udupi such as real estate, gold, and marine industries. It does not focus on any specific state but on infrastructure as a whole.”

Dinakara Shetty Herga, BJP district general secretary, announced that prime minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program will be screened at 111 booths in Udupi district on July 28 at 11 am. The program will also be available on the Sarala app.

Raghavendra Kunder JB, BJP district secretary, Vijay Kumar Udyavara, district spokesperson, and Shivakumar Ambalapadi, district office secretary, were also present at the press meet.
