New Delhi, Nov 4 (IANS): The Supreme Court Friday rejected Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's plea challenging a Bangalore court order asking her to appear again to answer questions relating to a Rs.66 crore disproportionate assets case.
In a partial brether, however, an apex court bench of Justice Dalveer Bhandari and Justice Deepak Misra permitted her plea for another date to appear before the trial court as the scheduled date of Nov 8 was not convenient to her.
The case relates to Jayalalithaa's first term as chief minister from 1991 to 1996.
