Mangaluru: Kangen Distributors Club to hold Aatida Koota on Jul 28

Mangaluru, Jul 26: Rajesh Nair, director of KDC (Kangen Distributors Club) of city informed that Kangen Aatida Koota will be held at 10.30 am on July 28.

The programme will be inaugurated by Neeriksha Shetty, renowned movie actress. The keynote address on Tulu Aati celebration and Tulu life style will be delivered by Veena T Shetty, retired senior manager of MRPL. The programme will be presided over by Rajesh Nair, director KDC.

The chief guests include Tharanatha Gatty, president Tulu Sahitya Academy, Dr M P Srinath, president D K district Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Ummer U H, president Karnataka Byari Sahitya Academy, Jochim Stany Alvares, president Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and P Sridhar, deputy forest officer, Mangaluru sub division.

More than 100 equipment on verge of extinction of Tulu lifestyle, tulunadu and tulu culture will be displayed. Various achievers of Tulunadu will be felicitated. Unique food and snacks Tulunadu people consume in the month of Aati will be available. Special programmes related to Tulunadu Janapada culture will be held.

Chief convener Satyananjan Bhandary, Rajeshwari D Shetty, conveners Ganesh H R, Rajesh Patali, Aneesh Balan and Nachiketh were present in the press conference.
