Udupi, Jul 26: During the monsoon season, water often stagnates around the environment, leading to the breeding of mosquitoes. These mosquito bites can spread infectious diseases like dengue. District commissioner Dr K Vidya Kumari stated that only by taking necessary precautionary measures and maintaining a clean environment around the house can the control of mosquitoes and the consequent control of dengue fever be easily achieved.
