Udupi: Man arrested in 36-year-old case

Udupi, Jul 27: City police arrested a man accused in a 36-year-old case on Friday.

Chinnuvadu (55), a native of Holehonnur in Shivamogga, is now in police custody.

A case of sandalwood theft was filed against him 36 years ago at the city police station in 1990. He was arrested at the Hakkipikki camp in Holehonnur.

The court has remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody.
