Kundapur: Three sea turtles rescued

Kundapur, Jul 27: Locals rescued two large and one small sea turtle that were struggling to survive after becoming entangled in a fishing net on the beach opposite Sri Maaraswamy temple in Maravanthe.

Maravanthe gram panchayat member Nagaraja Patagar and local resident Laxman Suvarna, with the help of tourists, cut the net and freed the turtles, which swam back into the sea on Friday, July 26.
