Kundapur: BJP MLC Dr Dhananjaya Sarji urges party workers to resolve to defeat Congress

Kundapur, Jul 27:
BJP MLC Dr Dhananjaya Sarji has called on party workers to pledge to defeat the Congress in all upcoming elections, stating that the party responsible for dividing India cannot unite the country. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi with uniting India and asserted that the people are tired of Congress's misgovernance.

Dr Sarji made these remarks while addressing the concluding session of a special executive meeting organised by the Kundapur Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Vishwakarma Kalyana Mantapa in Koteshwara.


He noted that the recent Lok Sabha and Legislative Council elections produced results that exceeded expectations, demonstrating that dedicated workers can achieve anything. He expressed gratitude to the workers, emphasizing his commitment to working honestly.

Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary, also spoke at the event. He remarked on the unexpected support he received from voters, which brought him close to leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda. He promised to work tirelessly on current issues such as Ayushman Bharat, railways, and highways.

MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi also addressed the gathering. The event was presided over by Suresh Shetty Gopadi, president of the Kundapur Mandal.

Other notable attendees included BJP district vice-president Suresh Shetty Kadur, district secretaries Sadananda Balkur and Anita Sridhar, and State vice-president of the Backward Classes Morcha Vithal Poojari Airody.

Kundapur Mandal general secretary Sudheer K S welcomed the attendees, while Anusuya and Roopa Pai read the felicitation letters. The programme was conducted by Satish Poojari Vakwadi, general secretary of Kundapur Mandal, and secretary Nethravati gave the vote of thanks.
