Mangaluru, Jul 29: The poster for the Kannada movie 'Adhipatra', starring Tulu-Kannada actor and 'Bigg Boss Kannada' reality show winner Roopesh Shetty, has been released.
The intense look of Roopesh Shetty in a police uniform is revealed, where he will be playing the character named Athreya.
Chayan Shetty, directing his first movie, helms 'Adhipatra'. Known for his creative ads in the advertising field, Chayan Shetty has now transitioned to film directing. In 'Adhipatra', Roopesh Shetty is paired with Jahnavi of 'Gicchi Giligili' fame. The cast also includes Prakash Thuminad of 'Kantara' fame, M K Math, Raghu Pandeshwar, Deepak Rai, Karthik Bhatt, Anil Uppal, and Prashanth.
'Adhipatra' is a suspense-thriller, produced by K R Divya Narayan, Kuldeep Raghav, and Lakshme Gowda under the Cine Combines banner, with Karthik Shetty and Satish Shetty as co-producers.
Reports indicate that 'Adhipatra' is inspired by a real-life incident. The film has been shot extensively in and around Mangaluru and Udupi.
The movie is expected to be released in September.
