Mangaluru, Jul 29: Dr S Selvakumar IAS, chief secretary of the Karnataka public works department (PWD), visited the Kettikal hill collapse site.
Dr Selvakumar collected information from officials and locals, with expert engineers from the PWD accompanying him to inspect the area.
He instructed that damage reports and solutions be obtained from experts and directed that the team previously involved in the Shiroor landslide be called to Kettikal.
Present at the site were deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan, government expert engineers, Mangaluru City Corporation commissioner Anand, police commissioner Anupam Agarwal, Mangaluru tahsildar, and HHI officials.
