Pune, Nov 6: Anti graft crusader Anna Hazare has decided to silence his virtual voice by closing down his blog on Saturday November 5.
  
The decision was taken by Hazare as his blog administrator Raju Parulkar used the blog to target key team Anna members including Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi.

Hazare’s tryst with the social media of blogging started in September and Parulekar had a significant contribution in influencing Hazare’s decision.

The Parulkar accused them of being fascist and undemocratic. His posting on the blog came a day after Anna declared that he had never spoken to Parulkar about restructuring of his team. Hazare was addressing media in New Delhi on Friday November 4 prior to parliamentary standing committee meeting regarding the Lokpal bill.

In his criticism of team Anna Parulkar claimed that Hazare is disappointed with his team and is planning a restructure of his core team.

Parulkar with the help of his whiz-kid friend Milind Verelekar ensured that Hazare’s blog was linked to more than 700 major international and national media houses.

According to sources close to him, the Gandhian has insisted on Vijay Kuvalekar, a long-time confidante of Anna and chief information commissioner of Maharashtra to share the administrative rights of his blog with Parulekar.

Hazare wanted the blog to reflect his own point of view and stop the chances of him being misquoted or having words put into his mouth either by his team members or any one else.

The stand off between Parulekar and other team Anna members especially Kejriwal happened when the team was in Ralegan Siddhi last month.

Team Anna members had objected to Parulekar’s way of functioning and his assuming the role of Hazare’s official spokesperson.
