Kasargod: DC declares holiday for educational institutions on Aug 1 due to heavy rains

Kasargod, Jul 30: In response to the heavy rainfall in the district,DC K Impashekhar has declared a holiday for all educational institutions on Thursday, August 1. This includes state, CBSE, ICSE schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, anganwadis, madrasas, and professional colleges.

Despite the holiday announcement, there will be no changes to the pre-announced examination schedules. Educational institutions are advised to resume their activities as usual after the holiday.

This precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety of students and staff amid the severe weather conditions affecting the region.
