Bantwal, Jul 31: Leader of Opposition R Ashoka visited the flood-affected areas of Baddakatte, Navoor, and Jakribettu dams in Bantwal taluk on Wednesday, July 31, in the afternoon.

During his visit, Ashoka met with the affected families to hear their issues and concerns. He also inspected the flood-prone riverbank areas and gathered information from local officials.

The visit was attended by legislators Rajesh Naik and MLC Pratap Simha Naik, BJP district president Satish Kumpal, and other key BJP leaders including Chennappa R Kotyan, Pooja Pai, Sulochana G K Bhat, Devappa Poojari, Harikrishna Bantwal, Sandesh Shetty, Akshit Suvarna, Dinesh Amturu, Govinda Prabhu, R C Narayan, Rama Das Bantwal, Devadas Shetty Bantwal, Sudarshan Baj, Purushottam Shetty, Dinesh Shetty Dambedaar, Anand Shambhoor, Pushparaj Chout, Rashmita Shetty, Santosh Rayibettu, Karthik Ballal, Yashwanth Nagri, Yashodhar Karbett, Prakash Anchun, Sanjeev Poojari, Suresh Kulal, and Hareesh Rai.
