Mangaluru: Mount Carmel Central School holds PTA General Body Meeting

Mangaluru, Jul 31: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru held the PTA General Body Meeting on July 27 in the school auditorium for the academic year 2024-25, bringing together distinguished guest, esteemed parents, staff and academic achievers in a vibrant community gathering.

The event began with a serene prayer song led by the school choir, followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the talented students of the school. The principal Sr Melissa, escorted the dignitaries to the dais, introduced the chief guest and welcomed the assembled audience.

The event was graced by the chief guest and keynote speaker of the day Dr Ananth Prabhu G, professor, Sahayadri College of Engineering & Management and Cyber law and security expert.

The highlight of the meeting was the felicitation ceremony for the academic toppers of grade X and XII 2023-24. The Chief Guest Dr Ananth Prabhu presented the awards to grade X achievers and Sr Carissima, the administrator of the school felicitated the achievers of grade XII.

Dr Ananth Prabhu, the key note speaker delivered an informative keynote address on the topic ‘Social Media & Cyber Security’. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the PTA vice president Carol Pais. Tr Sujatha Albuquerque compeered the programme.

The event successfully celebrated the achievements of the students and awareness on cyber safety.
