Fire breaks out in KSRTC bus in Sullia: No injuries reported

Sullia, Aug 1: Panic ensued at the KSRTC bus stand here on Wednesday morning when smoke and fire were noticed in a bus.

Smoke was suddenly noticed in the bus, which was scheduled to travel from Sullia town to Koyanadu.

Shortly after, the fire erupted. It is suspected that a short circuit caused the fire.

Passengers in the bus were quickly evacuated. Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
