Mangaluru, Aug 1: A house collapsed at Bajal Faisal Nagara on the outskirts of the city on Thursday afternoon due to heavy rain.

Fortunately, a woman and her granddaughter escaped without any injuries.

The house belonged to Yamuna.

When the mishap occurred, Yamuna’s mother and daughter were at home.
